Active Ingredient:

• Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.1%: This is the primary active ingredient in UpNeeq®. It works as an alpha-adrenergic agonist, stimulating the muscles in the eyelid (Müller’s muscle) to contract and lift the upper eyelid, helping to temporarily alleviate the effects of acquired blepharoptosis (drooping eyelids).

Inactive Ingredients:

• Benzalkonium Chloride: A preservative used in many eye drops to prevent bacterial contamination.
• Boric Acid: Used for buffering and antimicrobial properties.
• Sodium Chloride: A saline component that helps maintain the solution’s tonicity and comfort.
• Sodium Citrate: A buffering agent that maintains the pH balance of the eye drop.
• Sodium Hydroxide: Used for pH adjustment to make the solution more suitable for the eye’s natural environment.
• Hydrochloric Acid: Also for pH adjustment.

• Apply:

• For Contact Lenses: Remove lenses before applying, and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
